- In a podcast with Jeff Goldsmith, Dr. Miller revealed the sequel / 5th film in the franchise will be called Mad Max: The Wasteland. “We’ve got one screenplay and a novella.”
))))))))))))))))))))) (eta: A while back Miller said the second one would be titled ‘Furiosa’. That apparently is no longer the case.)
- Tom said in an interview last month that he’s attached to star in three more Mad Max films if the numbers add up. Hello, Wasteland!
- A series of Mad Max prequel stories from DC’s Vertigo Comics kicks off on Wednesday. The first issue focuses on Immortan Joe and Nux. Imperator Furiosa’s back story arrives June 17. A chapter about Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) comes out on July 8 and another about Gastown on August 5.
