Agent Josh Liberman, a 23-year CAA veteran, has a client list that includes Anne Hathaway, Colin Farrell, Hilary Swank, and director David O. Russell, among other notables. He credits his career success to a little bit of luck and a lot of hard work.
“I was fortunate to join CAA when I did,” says Lieberman, who came to the company in 1986, when it was just emerging as a unique alternative to established agencies of the day. “I was lucky enough to be a part of the company from the beginning.”
Lieberman grew up in New York City, where his mother, who loved the arts—especially old movies like Casablanca—fostered a similar passion in him. He fondly recalls staying up almost every night watching movies on TV when he was a kid.
His plan to take over his father’s marketing research business went awry halfway through college, when he decided to try acting. Admittedly, he wasn’t the best of performers, but his love of theater and film couldn’t be denied.
“I confided in my dad that I was doubting my desire to take over his business,” he says, pausing for a moment at the recollection. “He was very supportive. He told me I’d be successful in whatever I chose to do, as long as I was happy doing it.”
Lieberman moved to Los Angeles with film school in mind, but it took him just two weeks in the CAA mail room to realize he wanted to be an actor’s agent.
He’s been at CAA ever since, helping guide clients like Hathaway, Farrell, and Swank through considerable professional triumphs, including Oscar and Globe wins.
Lieberman has been quite happy and, as his father prophesied, quite successful. Father really does know best.

Спасибо ОКеечка. Интересно. Согласно WOGBF Forum он агент Джеррика, как я поняла на тот момент. Смею предположить, благодаря тому, что он агент и Хилари Суонк. И фотография давнишняя. Значит сотрудничество в настоящий момент в режиме паузы? Рядом постоянно на премьерах и фото только весь напряжённый и испуганный Алан.
Или в связи с театральными планами Джерра , он опять с ним работает?

думаю Джери каким бы умным не был ,он еще глубоко благодарен Алану за то что он столько лет с ним ,и ему очень трудно расстаться не просто с агентом ,но с другом.

Просто мухи лучше отдельно...
