EXCLUSIVE! Gerard sets his sights on South African Beauty

The actor flirted up a storm while in SA, and even took a local model, Tanya Strauss, for lunch. But doesn’t he have a girlfriend?

He’s one of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood, and has left a string of broken hearts behind him. From Jen Aniston to Brandi Glanville, Gerard Butler has been with some of the most gorgeous women in the world. However, as he tells heat (p.46), he’s ready to settle down with his girlfriend, Madalina Ghenea. But when the actor came to SA with Aaron Eckhart to promote their new flick, Olympus Has Fallen, it seemed his girlfriend was the last thing on his mind. Fans threw themselves at him, trying to either get a picture or have a chat with him. However, the one who caught his eye was local beauty Tanya Strauss. According to a source, Gerard approached Tanya at his premiere in Rosebank. “He wanted to meet her because he thought she was attractive,” says the insider. “He organised that they meet for lunch the next day.” Our source tells us that Tanya joined the actor at a restaurant in his Sandton hotel. “They spoke for three hours,” says the insider. “They really got along. He was a total gentleman — he didn’t try anything. He was flirting though.” Lucky girl! Later that night, Gerard made an appearance at the VIP Room in Sandton. And who was by his side? Tanya! Even though they didn’t embrace, she can clearly be seen close to the actor in most of the pictures taken on the night. And it doesn’t end there. On the day Gerard flew out of SA to carry on with his promotional tour in Mexico, he phoned her to say goodbye. When heat contacted Tanya’s management company, Click Management, they confirmed that they had arranged she go to lunch with Gerard. They also sent us a statement that read, “Tanya Strauss met Gerard Butler through mutual friends and business associates. Tanya and Gerard had lunch and Tanya and her team joined him and his team at the VIP Room.” Her manager said that Tanya was thrilled to meet the actor and that they have “common business interests abroad.” And maybe closer to home? So, considering Gerard said he’s ready to settle down with his girlfriend, what’s he doing chatting up gorgeous fans? According to a source, Tanya wasn’t the first woman Gerard’s chatted up on tour. “He sees this as an opportunity to meet new people, and if he’s attracted to them, he won’t hold back. He would like to have a family, but he loves women too much,” says a pal. Before Gerard headed to SA, Madalina joined her man in Rome. But she flew back to the US while he continued to travel. Having met him, heat knows how charming he is. If we were Madalina and had such a hot piece, we’d be keeping him on a tighter leash! @SonRaath

На странице IMDB Батлера появился фильм The Last Crop, который вроде выходит в сентябре в Канаде, и уже находитса в post -production , когда его сняли не понятно ...
