Just got back from seeing Gerard Butler in Hunter Killer! Delayed by a week, but so worth the wait! I don't know how many times I instinctively held my breath(most of the movie takes place underwater on a submarine, hence the movie title), nor for how long I held it!
It was so realistic that it certainly gave me all the more respect for all who sign up for the military. I was left with the nagging thought that this was just one mission in these characters' careers. This was just a sample of what they go through. And the fact that my grandpa was a Navy chaplain...Definitely hit close to home!
This movie also had an awesome message about unity. But that's all I can say because major spoilers!
All in all, this quickly claimed the title of my favorite action movie that Gerry Butler's in(so basically my favorite action movie period!)
(PS They just *had* to have the Scottish Highlands as being the first place we see Gerry's character! Once again, made me feel homesick for a place I've never been! **sigh** )
